Habitat for Humanity
In today’s economy we at VanDrie Home Furnishings understand that not everyone is able to afford even life’s necessities. Because we care for those around us, VanDrie is very supportive of innovative ways to help those in need.
Supporting Habitat for Humanity is another way for VanDrie to share in the needs of others. Through volunteer labor and donations Habitat builds and rehabilitates basic homes alongside the homeowner and their families.
We seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from our communities and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce
By being a member of the local Chamber of Commerce VanDrie Home Furnishings supports the local efforts of the businesses around us to keep the our communities a place for those to prosper in their individual businesses.
The Chamber of Commerce is a catalyst for community and business development and serve its members by providing opportunities to grow business and build community.
The Chamber serves the community by providing services that promote the area economy and protect the environment making this region a better place to live, work, play and raise a family.
Tri Lake Home Builders Association
VanDrie Home Furnishings partners with the local Michigan Home Builders Association to assist area contractors and residents alike in the successful completion of homes and buildings.
VanDrie work with area contractors who partner with them to help keep the costs under control in a competitive and growing community.
United Way
VanDrie Home Furnishings has been supporting the United Way for over 10 years.
By being involved in United Way fund raisers and projects we feel we are able to care for the community we are a part of.
United Way is about people working as a community, for the community to improve the lives of those in need.
